Dufour 44 WINNER of the 2007 COPA DEL REY
The IMS 570 is a new category this year in the 26th Edition of the prestigious Copa del Rey Camper Audi. Among the 29 participants in IMS 570, the best was without any contest Dufour 44 Ícaro and skipper Luis Mas.
Luis MAS , Dufour Yachts Agent in Spain, at the helm of some fine nautical successes. For the past 4 years, Luis MAS has been racing Dufours in Spain. He is notably the originator of the QUUM projects, with a double victory in a DUFOUR 34 and 40, during the last two Copa del Rey competitions. Luis did not stop there. He placed an order for a new DUFOUR 44, and did the finishing touches to his development for preparatory regattas*. The crew was already very impressed by the boat’s performance and very confident of the future prizes this “born winner” will acquire.
